Two chances to stock up on winter woollies and help a local cancer charity come to the Cotswolds in December.
The Corn Hall, Cirencester, and Cotswold District Council’s Moreton Area Centre are hosting a sale of knitwear by Woolovers - who are donating a percentage of the proceeds to the Cobalt Appeal Fund’s Crack Cancer Campaign.
Volunteers from the Cheltenham-based charity will be on hand to serve shoppers with coffee and tea at both sales. Donations received for the refreshments will also go to the Campaign, which funds hospital equipment and cancer research in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
The Corn Hall sale will take place on the Monday 5th and and Tuesday 6th December from 10am to 4pm, while the Moreton sale is on Tuesday, December 13th from 11am - 8pm and Wednesday, December 14th from 10am - 4pm.
Moreton Area Centre Manager Sarah Cantwell said: “It’s an ideal opportunity to buy some stylish Christmas gifts or treat yourself to a new woollie while helping a very worthwhile cause.”
