For one night only, The Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin Songbook will take over The Corn Hall, Cirencester, for a cool evening of blues and jazz on February, Friday 10th. This smooth show brings together top tribute acts – So Sinatra and Dino – to capture the essence of two legendary performers. Recreating the early 'Capitol Years' sound considered by many as Frank’s peak, So Sinatra explores the crooner’s subtle tones as well as the later brash performances of the ‘Rat Pack’ years.
The 'Original’ Dino, not to be confused with other '"Dino's" on the circuit, has been performing as Dean Martin for over a decade, including an appearance on ITV’s Stars In Their Eyes. He will bring to the show the magic, humour and above all the voice that made Martin the star he was.
Cotswold District Council Events Officer Rik Husdan said: “The Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin Songbook is absolutely huge. With songs ranging from You Make Me Feel So Young, The Way You Look Tonight, Come Fly With Me, I've Got You Under My Skin, My Way and, of course, New York, New York, it will be a real showstopping extravaganza!”
“This show is a rare treat that combines the talents of two of the UK's most popular sound-alike tributes with a stunning live band. These guys have the phrasing, sound, delivery and the manner of the originals. For one night only - Frank & Dean are back in town!” Tickets cost £10 in advance (available from Cirencester Tourist Information Centre on 01285 654180 and Swindon Tourist Information Centre on (01793 530328) and £12.50 on the door.
