Learn To Make Ancient Beads As Museum Workshop
LEARN TO MAKE ANCIENT BEADS AT MUSEUM WORKSHOP
Learn to make beautiful beads using ancient technology at an exciting day school for adults, taking place at the Corinium Museum, Cirencester, on Saturday 3rd March.
Working with amber, shell, bone, jet and tin, participants will have the chance to make some unique beads, under the tutorship of expert, Neil Burridge.
Neil said: “Throughout the year I run a series of practical workshops at different venues, covering many aspects of prehistoric materials and the technology to work them.
“They are very ‘hands on’, and are designed for people with no previous experience. They offer you the chance to follow in the footsteps of ancient craftsmen and learn some of their skills to open a window onto the past.”
The day school will run from 10am – 4pm. Tickets cost £35 including refreshments and all materials. Booking is essential. For more details or to book a place, please contact the Corinium Museum on 01285 655611 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
