Cirencester murder suspect could face life

A 16 year old Cirencester youth could face life imprisonment if he is convicted of sexual assault and the attempted murder of a Cirencester girl.
The 16 year old appeared before magistrates for the second time last Thursday and was remanded in custody to appear before the court again at a later date.
He is charged with attempted murder and sexual assault relating to an incident which is said to have taken place on October 29th in the City Bank area of Cirencester.
Neither the accused or the alleged victim can be named for legal reasons
