Cheltenham Promenade voted favourite

The Promenade in Cheltenham has been voted Britain's Favourite High Street in an online survey, beating the likes of Leamington Spa in Warwickshire (which finished second), the Royal Mile in Edinburgh and The Kings Road in London.
The mix of boutiques, chain stores and regency architecture helped the area (known locally as The Prom) to come top in the poll of 25 UK high streets.
Cheltenham polled more than a third of all the votes in the competition
