Appeal for witnesses to Moreton shop burglary

The Gloucestershire Constabulary web site says that Police are appealing for witnesses after unknown offenders raided a shop in Moreton in Marsh in the early hours of Monday November 21.

They say that at least three offenders broke into the Co-op store in High Street, Moreton, by forcing the front door just before 5am.
Once inside they stole 24 bottles of spirits and a quantity of cigarettes before making their escape in a Ford Escort car.
The vehicle was later recovered at a campsite on the A44 near Bourton on the Hill.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Gloucestershire police on 0845 090 1234, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 33 of November 21
