Learn To Ride Your Mini Moto Safely

Mini-moto riders are being given the opportunity to learn how to enjoy their hobby safely, legally and responsibly at an event at Fairford Police Station this weekend.

Young people in the area who already ride, or might be thinking about riding a moped, motorbike or mini-moto, are invited to join PCSO Lesley Pooley, PC Sarah Crawford and motorcyclists from the Gloucestershire Constabulary Roads Policing Unit at 6pm this Saturday, August 8th.

PC Sarah Crawford said, "Any vehicle, whether used on the roads or on private land, can be very dangerous if not used safely and responsibly. We hope that this event will help provide young people with advice on vehicle maintenance and how to drive safely in a fun way.

"Parents are also welcome to come along and meet us and our motorcyclists from the Roads Policing Unit."

Riders are welcome to bring their vehicles to the station on the day and anyone who would like any more information about the event is asked to contact PCSO's Pooley or Crawford on 0845 090 1234.
