Snow affects the Cotswolds

Snow affects the Cotswolds

Much of the Cotswolds was under a blanket of snow this morning after last night's snowfall. This photo shows Arlington Row in Bibury earlier today.

Up to 400 cars were abandoned across Gloucestershire after 8cm of snow fell in three hours yesterday (28th Nov).

Areas such as Cirencester, Bibury and Burford still have a covering this afternoon although with temperatures around 4C it is thawing all the time.
In areas the snowfall was very localised and places like Fairford and Lechlade seem to have escaped the first significant snowfall of the winter
