Return of Clare Teal prompts Box Office rush
Following Clare Teals huge success at the Sodbury Jazz Festival on 1st June the reaction has been ecstatic. Brilliant... it was a wonderful evening... we should have more like this in Chipping Sodbury.
And now there will be because, following a post-concert conversation with the organisers, Clare has agreed to return in December with her famous Christmas Show.
It was a very successful festival and Clare was certainly the hit of the weekend , said Mark Lloyd, Chair of Sodbury Chamber of Commerce and co-organiser of the event. She said afterwards that shed really enjoyed her first appearance in Chipping Sodbury and the audience was particularly responsive. As a result we asked if shed like to come back with something seasonal for Christmas, and she agreed.
Although the news of Clares return was only made public in a newsletter a few days ago, there has already been a high demand for tickets.
Word has spread quickly and the phone hasnt stopped ringing, said a delighted Mark Lloyd. Clare is not just a great singer but a great entertainer too, and this has been proven by the response.
By the time she comes to Chipping Sodbury, Clare could have another hit album on her hands. Next month, along with her musicians, shell be going into the studio to record a Christmas album, due for release later this year.
Clare Teals Festive Fiesta a unique blend of seasonal swing, cheeky latin grooves, humour and, to add a little romance, a smattering of cozy fireside ballads, comes to Chipping Sodbury Town Hall on the evening of Wednesday 4th December.
Tickets priced 20 can be ordered by calling 01454 34410 or by email to [email protected]
