A417 Open Following Two Fatal Collisions

The A417 at Birdlip in Gloucestershire has now reopened.

Crickley Hill had been closed from 3.10am until around 1pm following a collision in which a 54-year-old Cheltenham man died.

The A417 was later closed between the Air Balloon roundabout and the Cowley roundabout following a second fatal collision at 11.35am. Two women were pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesess to either collision that haven’t yet spoken to the police are asked to call Gloucestershire Police on 101.
