Christmas sacks issued to encourage more recycling

Clear plastic sacks are being provided by West Oxfordshire District Council in a bid to encourage residents to recycle more this Christmas.
Each household in Chipping Norton and Finstock will receive a plastic sack as a trial to improve recycling rates in these areas. Plastic sacks can also be picked up by all residents from council offices and from the Town Centre Shop in Witney.

The plastic sacks will be picked up during the first collection following Christmas, which is week beginning 2nd January. Normally excess waste is not collected, only waste contained in the wheeled bin and recycling boxes.
