Cirencester Parish Church to get major face-lift

Cirencester Parish Church is to get a major face-lift for the first time in 150 years.

A �2 million project has been given the go-ahead and will see the church getting a new heating system, enclosed shop and stone floor. The work is expected to start shortly after Easter 2006 and will last up to 18 months.

Cirencester Parish Church is thought to be the biggest Parish Church in the country
