First Freshers Fair in Chipping Norton
Young people in Chipping Norton are invited to come along to the first Freshers Fair, which will take place at the Chipping Norton Leisure Centre on Friday 3rd of February, starting at 4pm.
Anyone aged between 10 and 17 will be able to enjoy a variety of activities such as the climbing wall, skate park, swimming or sports taster sessions. The Fair is free and refreshments will be provided. For those living in the surrounding villages there is also free late transport.
Cllr Hilary Biles from the Town Centre Partnership and Cabinet Member at West Oxfordshire District Council said The Freshers Fair is a great opportunity for young people to find out what is going on locally. I hope a lot of people come along and tell us more about what they are interested in doing.
The Freshers Fair is organised by Chipping Norton Town Partnership, which is a group of organisations including the local councils working together on projects that benefit the town. For further information or to book late transport contact Cllr Hilary Biles on 01993 831822 or Rob Evans on 01608 643800.
