Concern over traffic islands on South Cerney road
A South Cerney woman has called for the Highways Department to do something positive before another life is lost on a South Cerney Road.
The Spine Road on the outskirts of South Cerney is used heavily by cars and gravel lorries, the latter of which probably contribute a lot to the often muddy state of the road.
In a letter to the Wilts and Glos Standard the South Cerney resident writes that the islands erected to calm the traffic are just a hazard as they are not illuminated, and even if they were they are so dirty you cannot see them.
