Westminster Abbey tribute to Ronnie Barker

A memorial service has taken place at London's Westminster Abbey in remembrance of comedian Ronnie Barker who died in Oxtober 2005.

Barker was a well known face around Chipping Norton, he retired to the hamlet of Dean, just outside Chipping Norton.

Stars such as Sir David Jason, Nicholas Lyndhurst and Lynda Barron were among 2,000 people paying tribute to the comedy legend.

Ronnie Corbett, Barker's comedy partner, delivered the eulogy. Comic Peter Kay also gave readings at the service.

Ronnie Barket once ran an antiques shop in Chipping Norton and was a regular at the Crown and Cushion in Chippy.
