Appeal after Bourton Supermarket Burglary

Police in the Cotswolds are appealing for witnesses after a supermarket in Bourton on the Water was burgled over the weekend.

Between 8.35pm on Friday March 24 and 5.55am on Saturday March 25 unknown offenders broke into the Co-op store in Station Road, Bourton, by forcing the front doors.

Once inside the shop they forced entry to an ATM machine on the premises and stole several thousand pounds.

Offenders also forced the security shutters of a kiosk and stole more than 5,000 worth of cigarettes and tobacco from inside.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact police on 0845 090 1234, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 115 of March 25.
