Clocks stolen in Northleach raid

Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary that took place in Northleach in the early hours of Tuesday March 28.

At approximately 3.20am four offenders smashed a ground floor front window of the World of Mechanical Music Museum and shop in the High Street, Northleach.

After breaking the window they pushed in a window display, damaging a clock worth several thousand pounds in the process, before stealing at least three other clocks from inside the building.

The offenders then climbed into a dark coloured car, possibly a Vauxhall Cavalier, which drove off in the direction of the A429.

A similar vehicle was found burnt out in a field near Birdlip at 4.40am.

Anyone with information about this burglary is asked to contact police on 0845 090 1234, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 44 of March 28.
