Cirencester could get European style makeover

The Market Place in Cirencester could get its first major makeover for the first time in over 170 years if new plans are given the go ahead.

The plans include the reduction of parking spaces in the Market Place, the re-routing of traffic down one side of the Market Place and creating a large pedestrianised piazza for the Cirencester charter market and farmers' market.
