Police warning after Moreton car break-ins

Gloucestershire Police have issued a warning after a car was broken into in Moreton-in-Marsh on Tuesday morning (23rd May).

A number of other vehicles have been broken into in the area recently and householders are being warned to be on their guard and not leave valuables in view - particularly sat nav systems.

This latest incident happened in Evenlode Gardens in the early hours of 23rd May.

The two thieves got away with a CD player and laptop after being disturbed by the owner.

One of them is described as about 5'10" tall, stocky and wearing a woolly hat. It's thought one was wearing a dark overcoat, the other a woollie jumper.

Anyone with information is asked to call Gloucestershire Police on 0845 090 1234 or anonymously on the Crimestoppers line, 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 40 on May 23rd.
