Man assaulted in Nailsworth

The victim, a 27 year-old man from Nailsworth, had been in the town's Horsley Road at around 3am when he was attacked by a number of unknown males.

The victim suffered minor facial injuries as a result of the assault and he was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment.

Following the attack the offenders climbed into a burgundy coloured car, possibly a Mercedes or a Ford Mondeo, before driving off.

They are described as white males in their 20s. They were wearing jeans and T-shirts.
