Tetbury filling station raid

Police are appealing for witnesses after offenders broke into a filling station in Tetbury during the morning of Tuesday November 21st.

At around 3am two males wearing balaclavas broke into the filling station in London Road, Tetbury, by forcing the front door.

Once inside the premises they forced a cigarette display and filled two bins with cigarettes.

Disturbed by a member of the public before they could steal the cigarettes, they left the premises and got into a large saloon car parked on the forecourt of the filling station before driving off towards Cirencester.

The vehicle is described as a large saloon or hatchback car in red or burgundy. The license plate began with the letters P34D.

Anyone with information about the raid is asked to contact Gloucestershire police on 0845 090 1234, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 33 of November 21st.
