Police carry out more patrols at Chipping Campden

A local paper is reporting that police are carrying out more high-visibility patrols at Dover's Hill, Chipping Campden, after two couples were robbed while sitting in their cars recently.

When the BBC website originally reported the story it simply said that walkers had been targeted. However, the report on the Cotswold Journal website has said that one of the incidents took place at 11:45pm, seemingly conflicting with the BBC story.

Inspector Alastair Stenner has said that the incidents were 'totally out of character'.

Anyone with information should call 0845 090 1234 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
