Fireworks Stolen From Lorry Near Cirencester

Police are appealing for witnesses after a quantity of fireworks were stolen from a lorry left parked by the side of the A417 near Cirencester.

The lorry, which was parked by the side of the road at Whitelands South, was broken into between 9pm on Monday January 15 and 6.20am the following morning.

Offenders stole eight pallets of fireworks after cutting the vehicle's curtain sided trailer.

Anyone with information is asked to call Cirencester police on 0845 090 1234, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 49 of January 16.
