Card Reader Found In Stow

Police are appealing for witnesses who saw anyone acting suspiciously near a cash machine in Stow on the Wold over the weekend.

Between approximately 5pm on Friday February 23 and 11.40am on Saturday February 24 unknown offenders placed an electronic card reading device on a cash machine at Barclays Bank in The Square, Stow-on-the-Wold.

The device was spotted by a member of the public and was subsequently removed and handed to police.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity at the cash point between the times and dates mentioned is asked to contact Stow police on 0845 090 1234, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 273 of February 24.
