Fatal collision - Chipping Norton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was killed following a collision on the A361 Burford Road yesterday (12/3).

Shortly after 12.50pm, the blue Yamaha collided with a white Peugeot pick-up, at the A361 junction with the old London Road. The 41-year-old man riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, while the van driver suffered minor injuries.

Anyone who saw the collision or either vehicle beforehand is asked to contact Sgt Bryan Smith at Bicester Roads Policing base, via 0845 8 505 505. If you don't wish to speak to police or leave your name, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
