Ambulance Targeted By Thieves in Cheltenham
Police are appealing for information after a sat-nav was stolen from an ambulance in Cheltenham yesterday (Wednesday, March 14).
Paramedics left the vehicle momentarily unlocked while they dealt with a patient requiring urgent medical attention at a care home in Gloucester Road at about 1pm.
When they returned to their vehicle they discovered the device had been taken from the dash-board.
Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone with information about the person responsible for this callous crime which might potentially have put other patients' lives at risk.
If you can help, please contact Gloucestershire Police as soon as possible on 0845 090 1234, quoting incident number 460 of March 14. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
