Create a unique fabric shoulder bag

Create a highly individual, fabric shoulder bag at this exciting day school for adults, taking place at Moreton Area Centre, Moreton-in-Marsh on Wednesday 25th April.

Using animals and birds depicted in the stunning mosaic floor designs at the Corinium Museum as inspiration, participants will work with local artist, Corinne Renow Clarke throughout the day. Using a plain, fabric bag as a base upon which to build their design, they'll have the chance to work with a variety of fabrics, to colour them, arrange them in layers and to add decoration in the form of hand stitching and beads.

This day school, organised through the outreach programme of the Corinium Museum, is suitable for both beginners and those with previous experience and will run from 10am - 3pm, with a lunch break between 12pm - 1pm. All materials are provided.

Tickets cost 35 including refreshments, though lunch is not included. Booking is essential. For more details, to book a place, or to find out details of other events, please contact Moreton Area Centre on 01608 650881.
