Swim or Play for 1 this May half term!

Popular Swim or Play for 1 sessions will be running again this May half term at Council-owned leisure centres in West Oxfordshire.

Swim for 1 will be available at Carterton Leisure Centre and The Windrush Leisure Centre, Witney, to young people under the age of 16 years. Chipping Norton Leisure Centre will be running Play for 1 on all racket sports for all ages during the week-long break, from Monday 28th May to Sunday 3rd June.

The West Oxfordshire District Council-owned leisure centres, which are managed by Wycombe Leisure Limited, regularly run the sessions during school holidays and they have proved extremely popular in the past.

The Windrush Leisure Centre will also run Camp Windrush, from Tuesday to Friday during the half term break. The OFSTED-registered sessions offer a variety of activities for children aged 5-12, including arts and crafts, roller-skating, trampolining and much more.

Sessions and timings vary across the centres and people are advised to either pick up a programme from the leisure centres or call them direct for more information. You can call Carterton on 01993 861981, Chipping Norton on 01993 861951 or Windrush Leisure Centre on 01993 202020.
