Cotswold Way National Trail officially opens

A trail running from Chipping Campden to Bath was oficially opened today, despite being a recreational walking route since the 1970s.

THE Cotswold Way National Trail runs for 102 miles following the Cotswold escarpment for most of its length and is England's newest National Trail.

Improvements made along the route include providing safer road crossings, 500 new waymark posts, 300 new finger posts and 400 items of furniture (kissing gates, gates, stiles etc.)
