Summer Holiday Fun At The Corinium Museum
This summer holiday why not keep the kids entertained with our many childrens activities at the Corinium Museum? There are activities to suit everyone: Family drop-ins that last all day, hands-on childrens activities, and the Activity Table- free resources to use during your visit around the galleries.
Family drop-ins, will run for five weeks, taking place every Tuesday (11am 3pm) beginning on Tuesday 31st July. Come along and join the fun. Topics we will be exploring include: Roman Myths, Toys and Games, Roman Gardens and Corinium Creatures.
Cost included in admission. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Childrens Activities. These booked activities will be running for five weeks, taking place every Wednesday and Thursday (10.30am-12pm), beginning on Wednesday 1st August. (Please note- there is no activity on Thurs 16th).
During these activities children will find out all about life in the past and use the museums displays as inspiration to create something to take home with them. Topics we will be exploring include: Celtic Clothing, Medieval Stained Glass, Beowulf Puppets, Printmaking and Mosaic Madness.
Places are limited, so book in advance to avoid disappointment. Cost: 4 per child (2 to annual season ticket holders).
Activities Table. New to the museum! A range of free activities will be available for families on the Activity Table, to help inspire them as they visit our galleries. Activities will change each week so why not drop in to see whats going on?
