Fatal Collision � A40 Burford to Cheltenham

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision on the A40 near Burford, on Friday (17/8) at around 1.50am.

A white Mercedes-Benz articulated lorry was travelling from Cheltenham towards Burford when it collided with a blue Renault traffic van travelling in the opposite direction.

A 42-year-old man in the Renault suffered serious injuries and was taken to the JR2 hospital for treatment. He died on Saturday (18/8).

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has any information which could help the police with their inquiries is urged to contact PC Ell at Bicester Roads Policing Department via 0845 8 505 505.
