Jewellery Shop Burgled in Bourton-on-the-Water

Police are appealing to the public for information after thieves burgled a jewellery shop in Bourton on the Water during the early hours of Tuesday August 28yj.

Between 12am and 12.05am unknown offenders broke into the premises of JewelleryJewelleryJewellery.com in Victoria Street, Bourton.

They removed metal window covers before breaking windows and stealing a quantity of jewellery from a display.

The offenders made their escape in a grey Vauxhall Astra saloon that had been taken from an address in Evenlode Road, Moreton in Marsh, between 5pm on August 27 and the time of the burglary.

The vehicle was later found by police in Bourton on the Hill.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact Gloucestershire police on 0845 090 1234, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 3 of August 28th.
