Man Dies in Collision near Tetbury

At approximately 6.10am today (Monday September 3rd) police received reports of a road traffic collision on the A433 at Culkerton, near the Rodmarton turn off.

The incident involved a green Rover 600 being driven by a man in his early 30s, who was the only occupant of the vehicle.

The car had left the road colliding with a tree, and it is thought that the collision took place between 3.30 and 4am.

The driver, who has been living in Cirencester, was declared dead at the scene and the road was closed until 12.10pm while a full investigation was carried out.

Any witnesses to this incident, or anyone else with information, should ring police on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 43 of September 3rd.
