Tetbury Weekend Of Free Fun For All The Family
Cotswold Leisure Tetbury will throw open its doors later this month when it hosts a free weekend full of fun activities. The 'Check it Out' open weekend runs from Friday 21 September to Sunday 23 September and is hosted by Cotswold Leisure Tetbury at the Dual Use site on Lowfield Road, and everyone is invited to this free event, whatever their age.
The event will run from 6pm � 10pm on Friday, and from 10am � 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. The event will highlight the services and activities available to the people of Tetbury and the surrounding villages.
Friday's list of activities are set to include from 6pm � 8pm:
- Army Cadet climbing wall
- Jessie Smith BBQ
- Tuck shop / coffee bar
- Circus Skills
- Fire and Rescue
- Health Info
- Bouncy castle
8pm � 10pm
Saturday's events include:
- Army Cadets
- Jesse Smith BBQ
- E-Gov service
- Sport coaching sessions
- Bouncy castle
- Fire and Rescue
- Junk models
- Mobile police station
- Cirencester College stand
Sunday's activities include:
- Tai Chi session
- Active and Able workshop
- Army Cadets
- Mobile Police Station
The event is being run in partnership with Cotswold District Council's leisure services department, Tetbury Town Council, Gloucestershire Youth Service and Cirencester College, with support from other CDC departments.
Cotswold District Council's Leisure Services Officer Alan Reid said: "There will be plenty of events available and it will give the local community a chance to come along and see what's on offer not just at Cotswold Leisure Tetbury but throughout Tetbury as a whole."
