New contemporary art centre for Chipping Norton?

The Telegraph has reported that Tom Astor, great grandson of the second Viscount Astor, is to build an international centre for contemporary art in Chipping Norton.
The paper reports that Mr Astor is working to convert eight barns on the family farm into a centre to show art exhibitions and hold music and poetry events.
Mr Astor say that it will be called Merriscourt and hopes that it will be open by summer 2006
