Dinner on the house - a gift from The Priory

The Priory Inn offers all hotel guests dinner on them during January 2008

The Priory Inn, Tetbury - the family friendly gastro-inn in the heart of the Cotswolds, and winner of five industry awards since 2006, is offering a ray of sunshine in the bleak month of January by offering dinner on the house to all hotel guests!

Tanya Kelly, hotel director and co-owner says "The majority of us go into hibernation in the month of January, preferring to stay at home and recover from the onslaught of relatives and the evils of the Quality Street tin. However, when a ridiculous offer like this comes along, we all know it'd be mad not to take it: a free three-course dinner in this chocolate-box market town; and the chance of a country cure for the January blues walks along country lanes, clear frosty mornings, open fields and delicious local and seasonal food in front of a massive walk-around fireplace.

"For 99.00 per couple, two people can come and stay with us overnight, each enjoy a three-course dinner from the unrestricted (award-winning) menu, discover the delights of the area and also have a great, local breakfast to set them on their way the next day. It is a great opportunity to see what can be done with local sourcing as we work closely with Cotswold farms and producers, proudly sourcing 75-85% of our food from within a 30 mile radius".

The January "Dinner on the House" offer at The Priory Inn costs 99.00 per couple per night or 79.00 for a single person between Sunday and Thursday. On Friday and Saturday nights, the cost of dinner and bed and breakfast is 119.00 per couple per night that is just 59.50 per person!

The Priory Inn - whose busy gastro-inn, bedrooms and coffee bar were completely refurbished in 2004 is at the heart of Tetbury life. Its aim is to be the best value place to "eat, drink and sleep" in the Cotswolds, and its roots lie firmly in producing exciting modern rustic cuisine using the best seasonal produce the Cotswolds has to offer, cooked expertly but simply and not costing the earth!

The gastro-inn has also gained a reputation for its live acoustic music on chilled-out Sunday nights and gourmet pizzas from the wood-fired oven. The restaurant is welcoming to all members of the family whatever their age with a special kids' menu and highchairs, but monitors work from bedrooms to restaurants, so parents staying at the hotel can relax and really enjoy their evenings.

The management team behind The Priory Inn boasts years of hospitality experience between them, working in and launching high profile hotel and restaurant establishments in New York, London and Hertfordshire.

The Priory Inn is situated in Tetbury, a beautiful market town in the heart of the Cotswolds which is one of the most important antiques centres in the UK. It is 2 miles from the Royal home of Highgrove. The hotel has 14 ensuite contemporary bedrooms.
