Appeal For Witnesses To Collision near Tetbury

At approximately 3.45am on Sunday November 25 police attended a two vehicle road traffic collision on the A433 between Tetbury and Doughton.

The collision involved a Landrover Freelander and a minibus that had been travelling in opposite directions.

Fire and ambulance crews attended and the drivers from the minibus and the Landrover had to be cut from their vehicles.

The driver of the minibus, a 40-year-old man from Tetbury, was taken to Frenchay Hospital with multiple injuries to his spine and face.

He is currently in a critical condition.

The driver of the Landrover, a 20-year-old man from Nailsworth, was taken to Bath Royal United Hospital with leg injuries and remains in a stable condition.

The six passengers from the minibus were treated for minor injuries by paramedics at the scene.
