Cotswold Way founder calls it a day

The founder of the Cotswold Way, which stretches from Chipping Campden to Bath, is to step down after 58 years' service to walkers reports The Cotswold Journal.

Tony Drake, who was awarded an MBE in 2001 in recognition of his services to public rights of way, stood down as the footpath secretary of the Gloucestershire Ramblers' Associations at the RA's annual meeting last Saturday in King's Stanley.
