Benefits Team go to Market

District Council Benefit advisors, Carole Kelman and Kim Jones, will be available from 9am - 4pm on Thursday 11 September at Witney Market and on Wednesday 17 September at Chipping Norton Market. They will be offering friendly and informative advice on making a claim for Housing and Council Tax Benefit

We are aware that the market is an unusual place to find Benefits advice, says Tracey Harrison, Benefits Manager, but we feel it is important to be out in the community and the markets are a good place where people from all over the District come together.

Our benefits team is keen to assure people that they want to help. The message to anyone struggling to pay rent or council tax or needing advice on other kinds of benefit is, you really have got nothing to lose and you might have a lot to gain. Come along and see us to find out more or give us a call on 01993 861030.
