A concert to mark the centenary of the death of Charles Villiers Stanford, with works by Stanford, his contemporaries and his pupils.
Works include Stanfords Songs of the Fleet, Te Deum in B flat and O for a Closer Walk with God, C H H Parry's Blest Pair of Sirens, R Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs and S Coleridge Taylor By the Waters of Babylon.
We will be conducted by Carleton Etherington and accompanied on the organ by Charles Matthews. We will be joined by the Baritone Ross Fettes.
Doors open at 6.45pm and Tickets are available via our website, from choir members or in early April from Cirencester Town Council (Bingham House, Dyer Street).
