Retaining many of its original features the Kings Arms has two bars and dining areas providing discerning and charming people with a menu that changes daily, an extensive range of fine wines and quality English ales. There is a delightful secluded Patio Garden with two sitting areas, one open air and one under cover. Stow offers a good variety of shops, restaurants and pubs and all of these are easy walking distance from the cottage.
There are many interesting places to visit in the area which include Snowshill Manor (NT), the Rare Breeds Animal Farm Park, Batsford Arboretum and Falconry Centre and attractive villages such as The Slaughters, Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Campden and Burford. Oxford, Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle and Blenheim Palace are all within easy driving distance.
