Paintings Stolen From Stow On The Wold Gallery

Police in Stow-On-The-Wold are appealing for information after two paintings were stolen from a gallery on Sheep Street at the end of last week.

Officers were called to the Titian Gallery by staff at approximately 5pm on Friday May 8th.

A man described as white, approximately 5ft 6� tall and aged between 34 and 38, had entered the upper gallery and stolen two paintings: a George Goodwin watercolour and an oil painting on canvas by William Ward.

The man was wearing a cream flat cap, round glasses, a cream jacket and dark trousers.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 383 of May 8th. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
