Cirencester Shopping Website Launched

Cirencester, Gloucestershire: 14th December 2010 - Cirencester Shopping gets a new shop front on the Internet

A new Cirencester Shopping Website has been launched by local website design and search engine optimisation specialists Commatic Ltd.

The website (www.cirencestershopping.co.uk) aims to promote shops, retailers and art galleries in Cirencester, with a particular emphasis on the many independent shops in the historic Roman town. And the first 3 shops in each street to contact [email protected] will receive a free page feature on the website.

Commatic Managing Director Al Powis said "Cirencester offers a unique shopping experience and we wanted to bring together all of the shops in the town into one place on the web".

"We initially approached some of the key independent shops and art galleries who were thrilled that we were doing something to promote shopping in Cirencester. The likes of The Wonderwall Gallery, Oeno wine importers and Masthead Art were quick to contribute information which goes towards creating dedicated pages for each shop in Cirencester".

"Local shops and business owners have also been keen to offer suggestions on the future development of the Cirencester Shopping website and Commatic will be working closely with them to implement their ideas".

"We are hoping that shops will tell shoppers about special offers, promotions and new product lines via the Offers page on the Cirencester Shopping website. And we will be using social networking tools such as Facebook and Twitter to keep local shoppers and visitors to Cirencester up-to-date with what's going on in Cirencester town centre".

In recent years Cirencester has seen the redevelopment of the Corn Hall area of the Market Place into a number of high quality shops and the development of the old Post Office area has brought the likes of Jack Russell, Lick The Spoon and Cirencester's first Sushi restaurant.

Added to the existing splendour of the likes of Black Jack Street and Swan Yard, Cirencester really is a shopping destination of note!
