The League of Friends of Fairford Hospital

The League launched a new initiative on June 20th. Their new charity shop in Lloyds Chambers, Lechlade opened for business Monday to Friday 10am 4pm and Saturday 10am -1pm. The proceeds from this will enable the League to develop its services within the local community. Good quality stock is available so it is well worth a visit. Volunteers are still required and for further information contact David Phillips 01285 850322 or Sue Braid 07890642270 or shop 01367 252189.

Barbara and John McNaught of Ryton House and Gerard Campbell of Maple House kindly opened their gardens in May for the League and in June Ablington Manor was opened by permission of Mr and Mrs Robert Cooper. These two events were very successful and raised 2,300 for the League.

Once again the local people of Fairford, Lechlade and the surrounding villages generously responded to our House to House collection donating over 18,000.

Many thanks to everyone who is supportive of the League in so many ways enabling us to continue with our important work within your community.
