Vacation Chamber Orchestras

Members of Vacation Chamber Orchestras, the �VaCO Ensemble�, will be touring Somerset and the Cotswolds this summer, performing in a number of prestigious venues in the region.

The performances will be the culmination of a week�s training course in the region. This group of talented music students, singers and instrumentalists are drawn from universities and conservatoires across the United Kingdom and will have been tutored by the acclaimed cellist and chamber musician, Victoria Simonsen, and Musical Director, Xenophon Kelsey, MBE.

The highly entertaining programme for their concerts, titled �Just So Much Nonsense�� will include William Walton�s hilarious Fa�ade (The Complete Entertainment) and a new arrangement of Edward German�s settings of Rudyard Kipling�s Just So Stories � musical fun ideal for all the family!

Thursday 30 August � West Barn, Bradford-on-Avon
Friday 31 August � Parish Church, Glastonbury
Saturday 1 September � Parish Church, Northleach
