CDC gives �grand� support to Pudsey Bear and local charitiesA recent fundraising event at Cotswold District Council has netted over �1,000 to be shared across three charities.Staff from the Print and Design Services recently organised a coffee morning, blind auction and raffle at the council�s Trinity Road headquarters in Cirencester to raise money for the BBC Children in Need appeal and the CDC Chairman�s charities � Gloucestershire Young Carers and the local branch of the Stroke Association. Staff snapped up the sweet treats, auction items and raffle prizes on offer - many of which had a Pudsey Bear theme - and proceeds amounted to over �1,000 much to the delight of the CDC Chairman, Cllr Sir Edward Horsfall: �This was a magnificent effort and I am very grateful to everyone who gave so much of their time and money to support my two chosen charities and Children in Need.
