A417 Open Following Two Fatal Collisions

The A417 at Birdlip in Gloucestershire has now reopened.

Crickley Hill had been closed from 3.10am until around 1pm following a collision in which a 54-year-old Cheltenham man died.

The A417 was later closed between the Air Balloon roundabout and the Cowley roundabout following a second fatal collision at 11.35am. Two women were pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesess to either collision that haven�t yet spoken to the police are asked to call Gloucestershire Police on 101.
