Woodstock play and activity day
Children and young people have the chance to join in the fun at a FREE action-packed play and activity day in Woodstock to kick-off the summer holidays.
With activities including body zorbing, drumming, lasertag and ‘Go Karting’, as well as soft play, face painting, nature play and the Story Tailors, there will be something for youngsters of all ages and abilities.
The Play and Activity Day takes place:
Wednesday 29 July The Marlborough School playing field, Woodstock, OX20 1LP 11am-3pm
The event is part of the national Playday campaign that highlights the importance of play in children’s lives.
Cllr James Mills, West Oxfordshire District Council’s ‘Young Persons Champion’, said: “We hope to see lots of you there as it’s open to all young people across the District. And with so many different activities on offer the youngsters will be spoilt for choice – and what’s more it’s all absolutely free which will appeal to parents too!” The day has been organised by Oxfordshire Play Association and is supported by West Oxfordshire District Council, Woodstock Town Council, Oxfordshire County Council, Cottsway housing association, Greensquare, Oxfordshire Community Foundation and Doris Field Charitable Trust.
