Family Fun Day at The Slaughters Country Inn

On Saturday 13 August The Slaughters Country Inn will open its gates to visitors of all ages for its annual Family Fun Day. Throughout the day, the inn will be celebrating summer with a barbeque and plenty of games to keep the young, and the young at heart, entertained all day.

Taking place within The Slaughters Country Inns four acres of gardens, there will be plenty of fun activities to suit children and parents. From a bouncy castle and face painting for the younger generation, to a giant game of chess or dominoes for those looking to test their brainpower. Those feeling more energetic can also dress up in a sumo wrestling suit, or take on the Hawaiian limbo game, all on offer free of charge.

The Family Fun Day takes place from 12-5pm with free entry and use of the games. A delicious barbeque will also be on offer for visitors to buy lunch, and plenty of drinks will be on sale from the inns bar.

The Slaughters Country Inn is the sister property of recently refurbished The Slaughters Manor House, situated on either side of Lower Slaughters stream. Those who havent had a chance to take a look at the new look Manor are welcome to pop in and see the transformation for themselves and perhaps cool off from the fun day with a chilled drink in the Manors beautiful new bar!
