Two hurt in Broadway accident

Reports say that one person was flown to hospital by air ambulance today following a two-vehicle collision at Fish Hill near Broadway.

It is believed that the accident happened shortly after 8.30am when police and ambulance were called to the scene. One person suffering from neck injuries was flown to Cheltenham General Hospital and a second with less serious injuries was also taken by land ambulance to Cheltenham.

The road was closed to traffic for some time because of an oil spillage following the accident.
